Starting bid: £0.00

Image Size: 67 cm x 58 cm (26 3/8 x 22 3/4 inches) All measurements are approximate.

Signed (lower right)

Edgar Plans, born in Madrid, Spain, in 1977, his childhood was marked by a strong artistic atmosphere in his family, as his father was a writer of science fiction and fantasy literature. His father was a science fiction and fantasy writer. From an early age, his father encouraged him to paint and color with creative freedom, and his father’s influence led to a wild imagination that has remained spontaneous and pure in its artistic expression ever since. His passion for childlike lines has led him to create the Little Hero series of images, which have not only been exhibited around the world, but have also set record prices at major auction houses.

Edgar Plans’ acrylic painting on canvas showcases a playful yet thought-provoking scene. Two abstract figures, a blue one with round ears and an orange one, stand in front of a window, seemingly lost in their own world. A minimalist figure, sketched with childlike simplicity, is visible in the window, adding an element of mystery. The sparse background, with colorful blocks and scattered items on the floor, enhances the casual and whimsical atmosphere. This work is a prime example of Edgar Plans’ signature style, where playful characters are set in surreal environments, exploring themes of innocence, imagination, and the boundary between childhood creativity and adult reality.
